Workshop and Machinery
Our busy, modern workshop is located at Trinity Gardens, at the foot of Trinity Hill in St Helier. We are happy to welcome visitors to these premises - whether existing clients who want to see how their project is progressing, or just those who would like to see how we do things at Concept Joinery. We are always friendly and approachable, so feel free to pop in to discuss your requirements.

We have a full complement of state-of-the-art machinery, allowing us to undertake creative, professional and exciting joinery projects for diverse client needs. Our hi-spec digital machines allow us to work at a level of precision not attainable by some other companies - we often work to the tenth of a millimetre instead of to the millimetre. These machines represent the next generation of joinery technology, and combined with our expertise, provide a superb level of quality for our clients’ projects. Below is a brief description of each machine:
Spindle

The spindle is used for shaping the wood, putting moulds on the wood and jointing. Our digital model operates to a 10th of a millimetre precision, can tilt backwards allowing for more flexible and complex work, and runs at up to 10,000 RPM.
Saw

The saw is used to cut, size, joint and trench the wood. Our digital model is a highly versatile machine, featuring extending arms and multi-purpose blades to ensure the best results on every project.
Planer/Thicknesser

The planer/thicknesser is used to face and edge the wood. This machine offers an extra level of quality and smoothness to the wood than if a four-cutter was used. Our digital machine uses six blades instead of the usual three - this makes for a finer edge on the final product and allows us to achieve the super quality that we are known for.
